If a fusion of the folk tradition and drum & bass sounds an unlikely marriage, then you’ve probably not had the pleasure of listening to the Monster Ceilidh Band. They are favourites on the UK festival scene, where their cross-genre, powerhouse ceilidhs seem to be able to get everyone up on the dancefloor!

‘The Monsters’ are all extremely talented musicians, with an innate understanding of the tradition and an excitement about pushing the boundaries. They are known for their outstanding live performances and are one of the UK’s biggest and well regarded ceilidh bands. Their reputation has been built over the past 10 years playing at festivals like Sidmouth Folk Week, Towersey, Cambridge and Warwick Folk Festivals as well as performing at weddings, conferences and other private functions all over the world.

Optional extras include iPod disco & clog dance performances! 

For fluidity of musical accompaniment throughout the day, members of the band are also available to provide background music (on a variety of instruments) as a precursor to your ceilidh!
